About Websites Then And Now
In the 90s, websites were amazing. Animated gifs, blink tags, animated gifs in a blink tag, midi files, marquee tags. Lovely.
This blog is to celebrate the time when web design wasn’t limited by web standards and convention, and when the office geek was given full reign to set up the website on his own since the bosses probably couldn’t see the point in having one.
Well, it’s either about that, or just to point and laugh at the awkward first blind steps into web design by high profile people and companies, with a touch of nostalgia on top.
Kudos to the wonderful Internet Archive Wayback Machine for saving all these gems.
